Fees can be paid by bank transfer before our session, or cash on the day.
I ask for 48 hours’ notice for cancellation to free up appointments for other clients and avoid cancellation charges.
I am bound by the ethical frameworks, policies, and procedures of the NCS (National Counselling Society). Please feel free to ask to view my qualifications. I have full professional insurance and an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. I am also registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) regarding the safety of personal data.
Yes, all counselling sessions are confidential. The exception would be if you were to pose a danger to yourself or others, in which case the relevant parties would be notified. But we would talk about this together first. I have regular supervision that is a requirement of the ethical code and standards of the UKCP.
My working hours are between 8:30am and 7:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Sessions are 50 minutes long. Sessions will be held on a regular time and day which will be agreed by both of us.
I can offer a limited number of concessions for students and low-income families, subject to availabilty.
