Rachel Griffin, Counsellor
I am a passionate and experienced counsellor, clinical supervisor and tutor who has worked with mental health for over 10 years. I have gained a passion for helping people understand themselves by working with them to gain an increased self-awareness and compassionate acceptance of who they are and where they are in their lives.
I worked with the Sue Lambert Trust in Norwich and now work with Survivors In Transition (SIT) which has given me a deep understanding of past and present abuse and deep trauma. This can manifest in our lives causing emotional disturbances in our relationships, which can often leave us feeling isolated and vulnerable.
I draw knowledge from different theories to help us understand your own unique self, putting your privacy, wants and needs – and our relationship at the very pinnacle of our work.

This approach gives me the flexibility to tailor any therapy to you. One of these approaches could be EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), which utilises the natural healing ability of your body.
I have also worked for Mind, the mental health charity.
I have offices in Norwich city centre and an office (with plenty of free parking outside) in Cromer, just a short 10 minute walk from Cromer town centre and train/bus station.
